The 28-target Field Archery course is set up at regulation shooting distances of 20 feet to 80 yards as sanctioned by the National Field Archery Association. Tournaments are held on scheduled Sundays through the warmer months, but members can shoot for practice at any other time. Normally one to four arrows are shot at each target. A standardized scoring system is used at the tournaments and awards are given for archers of varying abilities.

Field Archery Tournaments at the Suffolk Archers range are scheduled to begin at 9 am on the Sundays listed on the calendar.
